One25

Overview

One25 reaches out to marginalised women in Bristol, supporting them to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. We provide a number of support options from information, a listening ear, warmth, food, health screens and intensive caseworking dependant on the needs and wishes of the individual.

What we do

Outreach

Our van is white with a yellow roof, and goes out 7 nights per week and provides:

• nutritious food
• hot drinks
• a chance to talk and get advice in a safe space
• access to a mobile phone to contact emergency hostels
• information on 'ugly mugs' (perpetrators of street violence)
•  warm clothes
• personal alarms
• first aid
• harm reduction kits
• condoms and more

Anyone street sex working and presenting as a woman can access the van.  

Health hub

Through the Health Hub, women can get the flexible, sensitive support they need.

Three afternoons a week, they can see a specialist nurse, sexual health nurse, and GP. Women can also access essentials such as sanitary products, condoms, alarms, takeaway food bags, and clothing.

We are open 3 afternoons per week and provide a women-only space where they can speak to their caseworker, access their script, or have a warm shower. The Health Hub also supports women’s wellbeing, offering a safe and welcoming space to rest. Our Care Coordinator welcomes women with a warm hello and a hot drink.

Casework

The casework team offers specialist support to women who’ve experienced severe multiple disadvantages: addiction, domestic and sexual violence, or issues with mental health, housing, and finance.

They help women take ownership of their lives, identify the changes they want to make and then achieve these goals. Alongside partner services in Bristol and beyond they offer flexible, seamless support.

Referrals for casework support can come from anywhere: outreach, health hub, other support agencies and self-referrals.

Outreach

Sunday - Friday: 9:00pm – 12:00am, Saturday: 9:00pm – 1:00am

Health hub

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 12:30pm - 3:30pm.

Caseworkers

Monday-Friday: 9am - 5pm
